Andover Sound Machine (ASM) is the house band to support the three premiere show choirs at Andover High School – From Start to Finish, Nothin’ But Treble, and Back to Bass-ics. Comprised partially of students, and supplemented by some of Boston’s finest professional musicians, ASM travels with our show choir program for every performance.
Andover Sound Machine is directed by Jonathan Plouffe. 
Jonathan Plouffe
Jonathan Plouffe is thrilled to be the pit band director for Andover Show Choir’s Sound Machine. Jonathan has been the Choral Director and General Music teacher at Thurgood Marshall Middle School in Lynn, MA since 2006. In his free time, Jonathan music directs for local community theatre and volunteer organizations throughout MA and NH such as Voices of Hope Boston. He has been nominated for best music director for his production of Mamma Mia, and best Musical for Addams Family. Jonathan is the proud father of two boys, Julian and Judah. He would like to thank AHS for bringing him in to this incredible show choir experience!
